2026 Canadian Mining Expo (CME) Concludes Successfully

The 2026 Canadian Mining Expo (CME) was held from June 9 to 11, 2026, at the McIntyre Complex in Timmins, Ontario. As one of Canada’s premier annual mining events, the expo attracted approximately 5,000 professional visitors. The event featured the following highlights:

Large-Scale Exhibition: Over 400 exhibitors participated, including global equipment suppliers, innovative companies, and mining producers such as Metso and MMD Canada.
Industry Conference: The Indigenous Forum and the “Projects in the Pipeline” lecture series were held, where industry executives shared updates on major mining developments in the region.
Mining Job Fair: Ontario’s largest mining job fair took place, allowing job seekers to enter for free with their resumes and connect directly with major mining companies.
Skills Competition: The classic jackleg drilling competition showcased both traditional and modern mining operation skills.

Agnico Eagle: A leading Canadian gold producer, highlighting its iconic sustainable mining projects in northern Ontario and Quebec.
Glencore – Kidd Operations: Operates the Kidd Mine in Timmins, the deepest base metal mine below sea level worldwide (9,889 feet deep), showcasing deep-mining safety and ventilation technologies.
Alamos Gold and McEwen Mining: Presented low-cost, high-growth gold production strategies and recent expansion projects in the region.
Metso: A global leader in mineral processing and filtration, demonstrating crushing and screening solutions with lower energy consumption and higher efficiency.
