IAMGOLD Corporation has announced assay results from its 2025–2026 drilling program at the wholly owned Nelligan Mining Complex. The results confirm the down-dip extension of mineralized zones at Nelligan, Monster Lake and Philibert, and delineate existing resources through tighter-spaced infill drilling across the three deposits. Nelligan, Philibert and Monster Lake lie within a 15-kilometre radius, sharing a road-accessible consolidated exploration camp, approximately 60 kilometres southwest of Chibougamau in central Quebec, Canada.
IAMGOLD’s President and Chief Executive Officer stated: “I congratulate our exploration team on the exceptional performance at the Nelligan camp. Drilling continues to expand the mineralized system at Nelligan, while delivering eye-catching high-grade intercepts at Monster Lake and robust results from our first program at Philibert. By integrating Nelligan, Monster Lake and Philibert, we have created one of Canada’s largest pre-production gold camps. These results further reinforce the scale, quality and growth potential of this camp. We look forward to providing our next exploration update in the first half of 2027, followed by a Preliminary Economic Assessment outlining the potential for this camp to become one of IAMGOLD’s top-tier assets. Wholly owned by IAMGOLD and located in a stable, mining-friendly jurisdiction, this complex offers an attractive avenue for organic growth and further strengthens our supply base as a leading intermediate gold producer.”
Nelligan Drilling Highlights

Philibert Drilling Highlights

IAMGOLD’s Vice President of Exploration commented: “Results from our ongoing exploration program at the Nelligan Mining Complex are highly encouraging and support our objective to expand the mineralized envelope across the three deposits. At Nelligan, mineralization continues down-dip, with multiple intercepts grading well above the current average mineral resource grade. We will continue infill drilling while advancing step-out drilling to further extend the system. At Monster Lake, recent drilling has returned high-grade intercepts and extended the Megane zone down to 600 metres depth. Based on mineralization style and structural controls, we plan to advance delineation drilling. At Philibert, our inaugural drilling program validates previously identified mineralized areas and grades, boosting confidence for the upcoming mineral resource estimate and demonstrating depth potential. I also sincerely congratulate the exploration team for safely executing these programs and consistently delivering strong results.”
