1. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is mainly used as the coagulation liquid of artificial fiber. Used in dyeing industry as mordant, verramine blue salt dyeing anti - alkali agent.

2. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is the main raw material for the manufacture of inorganic pigments (such as barium zinc), other zinc salts (such as zinc stearate, basic zinc carbonate) and zinc-containing catalysts.

3. Zinc sulfate heptahydrate is used as a preservative for wood and leather, bone glue clarification and preservative.

Zinc was slowly added to dilute sulfuric acid with a relative density of 1.16. The temperature was controlled at 80 ~ 90℃. After about 2 hours, the Ph value of the solution reached 5.1 ~ 5.4. After filtration, the filtrate was oxidized with a small amount of potassium permanganate or bleach powder to further remove a small amount of iron and manganese, and the zinc sulfate solution with a relative density of 1.28 ~ 1.32 was obtained through filtration. After cooling, the solution was crystallized in a crystallizing pot for 2 ~ 3d, the crystallization was separated, and the finished product was dried at 40 ~ 50℃ after drying.
