Physical and chemical properties:
Appearance and properties: White powder or particle density: 1.005 g/mL at 25 °C Boiling point: 330 C at 760 mmHg Stability: Stable. Storage condition: Keep container tightclosed.
Production method and application
Production method:
In the synthesis method, sulfuric acid was reacted with zinc oxide and filtered, then zinc powder was added to replace and remove impurities. After filtration and potassium permanganate oxidation, then drying, separation, concentration, filtration, secondary replacement, pressure filtration and screening, zinc sulfate monohydrate was prepared. its
USES:
It is mainly used as raw material for manufacturing zinc barium and other zinc salts, and is also an important auxiliary material for viscose fiber and Vinylon fiber. In agriculture, it is used as micronutrient fertilizer, as well as electroplating, flotation separation, preventing disease of fruit tree seedlings and treatment of circulating cooling water.
Risk term:
R22 Harmful if swallowed.
R41 can cause serious eye damage.
R50/53 is highly toxic to aquatic organisms and may have long-term adverse effects on the aquatic environment.
Packing, storage and transportation:
Packed in plastic woven bags of 25kgs or 50kgs net each lined with polythene plastic bags.
Toxicity and Protection:
Zinc sulfate increases the prevalence of respiratory, digestive and circulatory systems. Anhydrous and concentrated fluids can cause ulcers, more often on the back of the hand than on the palm. Personal protection and prevention measures are to wash hands with a 2% sodium bicarbonate solution and apply with a fatty ointment.
